Huntsville Hamfest Von Braun Civic Center Aug 21 & 22, 2010

Huntsville Hamfest The Huntsville Hamfest is held at the Von Braun Civic Center. See their map here. GPS Coordinates: 34.7270°N, 86.5918°W. This shows the parking facilities in the VBC area. If you plan to park in the parking area under the South Hall (P2), enter via Pollard Street from Clinton Avenue. Of course our talk-in station will be available to you if you need further navigation aid. The talk-in will be on the 146.94 repeater and the backup in case of failure will be on the 147.30 repeater. TEN TEC HAMFEST ANNOUNCING THE 11TH ANNUAL TEN-TEC FACTORY HAMFEST! Fri. Sept. 24 and Sat. Sept. 25, 2010! Welcome hams from around the country to the 11th annual Ten-Tec factory hamfest! Featuring a discount sale on Friday and Saturday on new and used Ten-Tec ham radio equipment! Door prizes! Tour of the Ten-Tec factory! Meet the Ten-Tec factory representatives! 4 HF stations will be simultaneously on the air to try out the latest equipment. License testing at 12:30 Saturday afternoon. When: Friday 9/24/10 from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday 9/25/10 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Where: Ten-Tec, Inc., 1185 Dolly Parton Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862. We are 2.5 miles east of downtown Sevierville on highway 411 north, across the street from Sevier County High School.
